WebCrisis heating assistance Families meeting certain eligibility requirements will receive one payment that will be applied to their utility bill to prevent loss of service or help to restore services. Our goal is to help qualifying families resolve their crisis within 48 hours. WebProvides grants to families living on low incomes to pay their heating bills. The grant is a one-time payment sent directly to the utility company/fuel provider. These grants range from $500 to $1,500 based on household size, income, and fuel type. Households in immediate danger of being without heat may also qualify for crisis grants.
