WebJun 26, 2024 · It is more a case of making sure that the conduit is firmly bedded into something, so that everything is solid when filling the chase and making good. I usually use a form of mechanical fixing to hold the conduit into the chase, in the form of leaving a few "nibs" at the sides of the chase that make the conduit a tight fit there.
