WebSo I had an x-ray today for my back pain probably not related to diverticulitis. The tech had me lay on my left side where my inflammation due to diverticulitis usually is. I don’t think I’m in the flare right now but I definitely have chronic sensitivity there. I am also obese. So when I was on the table it put pressure on my left side. WebThe findings are in keeping with diverticulitis. Multiple locules of free gas are seen in the left iliac fossa, adjacent to the sigmoid colon in keeping with perforation. In addition, there are multiple locules of gas of various sizes below the diaphragm and adjacent to anterior abdominal wall. Gastrostomy/PEG tube is in-situ.
